The parking application will become available to residents in the MyHousing portal once a room is selected during room selection. Student resident parking is $400 per semester and the charge will be billed to the student’s account.
There is a capacity of 700 parking spaces in the University Commons deck, 230 parking spaces at Piedmont North, and 270 parking spaces in the University Lofts. Parking at the Commons, Lofts, and Piedmont North is open only to students who live on campus. The students that desire parking at Piedmont North, Commons, or the Lofts must complete the online parking application by logging into the MyHousing Portal and completing the parking application.
Parking fees are due at the same time as Housing and Tuition and fees. Only one parking space per resident will be assigned. If there are no available parking spaces, you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted once space becomes available. Residents placed on the parking waiting list will be notified via student Panther Email when parking becomes available. Parking can be added at any time depending on availability. Residents are billed a prorated amount for parking based on the days remaining in the academic year or semester. Parking can be canceled at any time during the semester. The resident is charged a $80 cancellation fee. Unreturned hangtags will result in a fee that will be charged to the resident’s PAWS account.
