Update or Change your Registered Mobile Number in Punjab National Bank: Now-a-days, as all the banks are providing net banking and phone banking facilities for ease of transactions and for convenience of their customers, it is a must to get registered your mobile number with your bank to avail benefits of online banking.
Whenever you want to use the facility of Internet banking, Phone banking or SMS alerts, it is mandatory to have your mobile number registered in your account with Punjab National Bank. In order to change your Registered Mobile Number in Punjab National Bank, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Approach home branch of Punjab National Bank where you maintain your account
Please visit the Punjab National Bank Home Branch along with necessary documents such as copy of your Proof of Address like latest Telephone Bill, Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc. and proof of identity.
Step 2: Obtain KYC Details Change form
Meet Relationship Manager or Bank Executive and ask for 'KYC Details Change Form' which is required for changing registered Mobile Number.
Step 3: Fill up KYC Details Change form
Fill up KYC Details Change Form thoroughly. You need to mention following details:
Step 4: Submit KYC Details Change form along with necessary documents
Submit the duly filled up KYC Details Change form with your Proof of Address and Proof of identity (if asked for) to the Bank Executive.
Step 5: Take the acknowledgement of your request of change of registered mobile number
Bank Executive will verify your form, signature and other details. If he finds the form complete in all respect, he will give you an acknowledgement of your request.
Step 6: Processing of your request of changing registered Mobile Number
After due validation, Punjab National Bank will change your registered Mobile Number in your account and in the bank records.
Step 7: Verify with the bank about change in your registered Mobile Number
You will be sent a notification by Punjab National Bank either through SMS on your new mobile number or email about changing your registered Mobile Number in your account within a few hours. In case, your do not receive any intimation, you may contact your branch and confirm if the changes are processed.
The bank may ask following documents for changing your mobile number in your bank account.
